Itinerary:

Come out and join me for an afterwork/night hike at Blankets Creek.

It's the day after a full moon and "la luna" will still be big and bright giving us a nice glow on the trails. (Headlamps or a flashlight will still be needed)

We'll be hiking on the Dwelling and South Loop trails. These trails are directional based on the day of the week. It's Friday, so we'll be hiking both trails counter clockwise

Bikes have right of way at all times, so if we see any bikers, then we'll need to quickly move off trail to allow them to pass.

Be sure to bring your headlamp or a flashlight because this is a night hike. :)

Total hiking is approximately 8 and 1/2 miles.

Plan to keep a minimum pace of 3 mph. We'll probably finish this hike in around 3 hours.

Required Items to Bring:
  • 1 to 2 L. of water
  • Good hiking shoes/boots
  • Headlamp/flashlight
Recommended Items to Bring:
Use our Event Checklists to make sure you have everything you need.
  • Dress in layers
