Itinerary:
Easy to Moderate

This is about a 7 mile round trip over moderate terrain. (This trail is a bit easier than the climb to Blood Mtn. from the Neels Gap side.) This hike can easily be turned into a 5 mile trip if you stop at Slaughter Gap, skipping the last climb to the top of Blood Mtn. We will hike both the Appalachian Trail and Slaughter Creek trail. I plan to eat lunch on the mountain top.
