Itinerary:

Will meet @ the Mansell road park & ride, heading up 400 on to hwy 19 to Vogel ST. Park. Meeting back up around the parks vistor center parking area. From there will head out on this beautiful 4 mile trail plus another 1/2 mile with a side trail to an overlook. With the leaves off the trees we should get nice veiws all along the trail. We will hike on the slower side of a moderate pace.

Warm clothes
Hiking boots.
1 liter of water

From Mansell road, will head north on Ga 400/19 through Dahlonega. Staying on Hwy. 19 once 400 ends to Vogel.

Estimated cost per vehicle for this event is $62.00 using a reimbursement rate guideline of $0.400 per mile. The total amount should be divided by the number of people in the vehicle, including the driver. This is a guideline, not a rule, for drivers but the cost should not be higher unless there are extenuating circumstances.

Cost Includes:

There is $5 entry fee into Ga ST. parks, per vehicle. If you have a ga library card, you can check out a park pass to use it to enter the park.
