Itinerary:

If you want a good work out and like a fast pace, then come join me for an after work Fitness hike at Olde Rope Mill Park in Woodstock.

We'll be hiking on the Taylor Randal Memorial Bike Trails, which hiking is permitted.

The trails are directional by day of the week and we'll be hiking all 3 loops.

Bikes have right of way at all times, so if we see any bikers, then we'll need to quickly move off trail to allow them to pass. On the warmer evenings, we've been seeing quite a few bikes, so we should be aware at all times.

Be sure to bring your headlamp or a flashlight because this is a night hike. :-)

This is a fast paced group and our goal is to get in a good workout, but also to stay as a group.  We'll be hiking anywhere form 3.5 to 4 mile an hour. If you are not sure that you can maintain that pace, this may not be the hike for you. Your TL will be contacting you if there are questions about your ability to keep pace.


Total hiking is approximately 6.25 miles.

 We'll be hiking Loop 1, 2 and 3 of the Avalanche Trail


Required Items to Bring:
  • 1 to 2 L. of water
  • Good hiking shoes/boots
  • Headlamp/flashlight
Recommended Items to Bring:

Directions to Olde Rope Mill Park:

From I-575- Traveling North
Take Exit 9 (Ridgewalk Parkway)
Turn right off the Interstate onto Ridgewalk Parkway
At first stop light make a left onto Rope Mill Road
This road dead ends into the park.

From I-575 - Traveling South
Take Exit 9 (Ridgewalk Parkway)
Turn left off the Interstate onto Ridgewalk Parkway
At first stop light make a left onto Rope Mill Road
This road dead ends into the park.
