Itinerary:

Segment 2 of doing a whole bunch of the AT in as few trips as possible includes Woody Gap to Hogpen Gap and will include going up and over Blood Mountain, down to Neels Gap (and losing 1,300-feet in the process), up to Levelland Mountain before continuing to Tesnatee Gap and, finally, Hogpen Gap. Two hikes, 38-miles. Yay.

Lunch will be at Neel Gap.  We can freshen up for the last 7-miles.

This hike will require a car shuttle.  I may have a trick up my sleeve to minimze the hassle factor.  As with the first segment, it involves faster hikers being in possession of the car keys at the end.

This hike will be a challenging 17-miles and include an elevation gain of approximately 6,900-feet.  Please be objective in your fitness level to do this thing, Recent D5/D6 is preferred.  Otherwise, please provide some narrative demonstrating that you understand normal people don't do this sort of thing intentionally.

After the hike, we'll stop for dinner. Not For prime rib.  Not Medium-rare.  And, no baked potato.
