We will be begin the hike at the Confederate Hall parking lot (near the restrooms) and head to the Cherokee trail where we will follow it around Stone Mountain finishing back where we started at the restrooms. On our way, we will branch off under the covered bridge and scramble near the lake for about a quarter to half mile. After that, we'll head to quarry exhibit area for some historical lessons. We will also traverse the longest of Connector trails and the entire Garden trail.

The hike will be approximately 6.5 miles and may involve some steep sections so please bring appropriate footwear.

I will allow up to four dogs for this event

Free parking is available at Stone Mountain Village. It is less than a half mile walk to the park and the West entrance gate is near our meeting area.

If you have any questions please contact Hakeem.

Thanks TonyC for the great picture!!!
