Itinerary:
How 'bout a good stretch of the legs and a good little workout? Let's meet at the Confederate Hall parking lot. From there we will climb 1.3 miles to the summit of Stone Mountain, admire the views and descend to the Cherokee Trail. We will then hike the 5.3 mile Cherokee Trail counterclockwise stopping for a picnic lunch along the way and then return to Confederate Hall. Total hiking distance will be approx 6.6 miles. No Sunday strolls...we're burning daylight!

Required Items to Bring:
Good hiking shoes and plenty of water or Gatorade.		Recommended Items to Bring:

How to Get There:
Event Directions:From I-285 East, take Exit 39B, the U.S. Hwy 78 East (Snellville/Athens) exit. Travel 7.7 miles and take exit 8, the Stone Mountain Park Main Entrance. Follow the exit ramp to the East Gate entrance of Stone Mountain Park.
