Itinerary:

This will be a day of views, waterfalls, climbing on boulders, & exploring.  Bring a sense of adventure & don't be afraid to get a little dirty. I've done most of this trail, but we may do some extra exploring.

We will start at Signal Point on Signal Mountain, & stop at a couple of overlooks to see the Tennessee River. Then down a series of steep steps to look at some waterfalls. Climbing back up from the valley we come to Lockhart's Arch, a natural rock formaton, where we can take some time to explore.

From there it's on to Edward's Point with a beautiful view of the gorge & Tennessee River. Leaving the overlook the trail follows along the gorge to Mushroom Rock, a natural rock formation. We will then climb down into the valley, cross a huge swinging bridge across the creek,& back out of the valley to our waiting shuttle cars.

If we want we can stop for dinner in Signal Mountain.

The early start will allow for the shuttle & plenty of time to explore.
