Feel as though you owe her one? Well, here is your opportunity to return the favor to Mother Nature. Whether you ride, run or walk the trails around the Chattahoochee National Park - Sope Creek you have benefited from having a wonderful park in the heart of Atlanta.

If you are around town on the weekend before Thanksgiving Weekend and looking for a way to burn forthcoming calories or just wishing to get some fresh air - you now have plans! Join us as we assist the park ranger and other volunteers with trail maintenance.

You’ll learn how to prevent erosion, replace or repair damaged areas and gain a better understanding of this heavily used trail system.

Event Directions:Atlanta, GA TIME 9:00 am - Noon

MEETING LOCATION We will be meeting at the parking lot off of Paper Mill Road (the parking lot near the pond).

Take GA 400 northbound take Abernathy exit. Turn left on Abernathy. Go about two miles on Abernathy to Johnsons Ferry Rd. and turn right. Go over the river and turn left onto Paper Mill road. Go about two miles and turn left into the parking lot -- look for the brown and white Chatahoochee River National Recreation Area signs.
