Bible Springs,

Bible Springs is a great beginner's cave that even experienced cavers can enjoy. It is currently my favorite "fun" cave.

Beginners are encouraged and welcome.

This is a great cave to get your "feet wet" and to gain some experience. I have updated the difficulty to a d3 due to scrambling and or water crawls. Depending on group speed; if we are moving slow, it will be cold, bring a small jacket if you are concerned about being cold.

Caution:

This is a wet cave, so appropriate clothing is recommended and neccesary! Please no cotton, or jeans, "YOU WILL GET COLD." I will ask you not to enter if your gear and clothing will get your hurt or worse. This is for personal and group safety!!

No electronics should enter the cave that you value!!!

I will have 2 available rental Helmets (10 Cash), but no lights, must bring your own.

Required Items to Bring:

Caving/Climbing Helmet (no bike helmets)

Headlamp (Waterproof)

2 other light sources minimum (prefer 2 headlamps)

plenty of batteries

backpack/fanny pack

water

snacks

longsleeve shirt (synthetic materials only, no cotton)

Extra Longsleeve shirt if you are cold natured

long pants (no jeans or cotton)

Polythermals (work out liners/running tights (legs highly recommended))

boots (soft soles preferred, no sandals/ five fingers)

Socks (smart wools, wigwams, Seal Skins)

gloves (no cotton, mechanics gloves/ plumbers gloves)

kneepads (no hard plastics)

towell (big enought to change under)

zip loc freezer bags (2)

trashbag for dirty clothes

face and hand wipes to clean off

change of clothes for ride home
