Itinerary:

OK, I just learned it’s not spelled “DeeTooth”, but D2s … sorry still working on my English.  :)

Well, I have been asked to lead a few D2 hikes at a leisurely to moderate pace. Hikes which are very suitable for beginners and for fellow AOC friends who want to lose their “winter stiffness” and get ready for some D3s or D4s.

Note: All hikes are rain or shine hikes, i.e. dress appropriately. We will of course not hike if there are thunderstorms likely.

So, here we go: Come join me on the trails at the Island Ford - Unit of the Chattahoochee NRA. There are some rather hilly areas, but none of those are too challenging and the ascents quickly change to descents, giving folks time to catch their breath.

If you have any questions e-mail the Event Coordinator.
