Itinerary:

Coming from the East Cobb area, Dacula is on the other side of the world!  Does anyone live out there?  Will anyone sign up for this hike?

Although there have been AOC biking events at this park (there are hiking trails, biking trails and equestrian trails here) there have never been hikes posted at Harbins Park.  I've scouted out the park a bit, but I haven't actually hiked it, thus the exploratory label.  If you love discovery and adventure, join me!  Don't worry about getting lost - -  There are maps and marked trails.  The paved multipurpose trail is 4.3 miles long;  then there are 7 miles of equestrian trails. We'll walk the entire multipurpose trail and hike some of the equestrian/hiking trail, going around 7 miles or so. I'm not sure about the hills on the equestrian trail, so it might be rather hilly. Please be flexible!  I've allowed three hours for the event just to give us a cushion against being late getting back to the trail head.
