Itinerary:

Whether you are new to paddling or you are an experienced paddler, this trip is for you.  Join your TLs (Paula, Patrick and Bobby Marie) as we enjoy a paddle on the ‘Hooch.

The link below contains all the information you'll need, so read the entire page and make yourself aware of the put in and take out time and location.  Once we park our cars we’ll grab the shuttle back to the start.  On the river we’ll paddle (and float) the 13.1 miles (lunch stop along the way) to the takeout and call it a day.

Got a boat, need a boat, bring a lunch or buy a lunch, CRK aka Upper Chattahoochee River Keeper, GRN – Georgia River Network, Keep it Wild and WAWA (West Atlanta Watershed Alliance) have you covered.  All four organizations support various water related causes.

The most expensive option is $50 but it gets you a rental, lunch and membership.  El cheapo (bring your own boat and lunch) is $15 (which is a good deal for any shuttle).  For $40 you may join all four organizations, which is a terrific deal compared to individual memberships for each.

Paddle Skills – the water we’ll paddle is Class I, slow moving and good for beginners.

No AOC fee but the event fee (payable from the above link) details many options.  Once you register on the AOC site, make payment for the event and forward the confirmation to TL.  If you have not sent TL email after one week you will be removed from the event.
