Itinerary:
We will arrive at Atlanta Airport to catch plane to San Francisco. When we arrive we will pick up rental car and drive to Yosemite. Once there we will pickup permit and then go to campground for the night. We will start hike August 2nd at Happy Isles (Elevation 4040’) and hike to Nevada Falls (Elevation 6120’) for Lunch. From there we will hike to Half Dome (Elev. 8842’) after we summit Half Dome and explore summit we will then return to trail junction and hike another .5 miles where we will camp for the night. Next morning we will hike to Cloud Rest (Elev. 9926’) after we summit we will descend to have lunch, after lunch we will hike to Sunrise Lakes to camp. From Sunrise Lakes we will hike over Cathedral Pass to Cathedral Lakes and camp at Lower Cathedral Lake (Elev. 9226’). The Next morning we will hike to Tuolumne Meadows to pick up food resupply at post office and have lunch at Tuolumne Meadows Restaurant for lunch (hamburgers um um). After we have lunch and rest we will hike thru Lyell Canyon to Maclure Creek or Ireland Trail to camp. Next morning we will hike up Ireland Creek Trail to Evelyn Lake (elev. 10,334’) to camp. The next day hike to Vogelsang Camp and turn onto Lewis Creek Trail where we will go over Vogelsang Pass (Elev. 11,516’) and finally end the day at Merced Lake Campground. The Next day we will hike to Little Yosemite Valley for the evening. The next day we will leave our packs and tent and day hike to Mist Trail and Vernal Falls where we will have lunch around Vernal Falls Where one can go swimming if they like. From there we will hike back to Little Yosemite Valley for the night. The next day we will hike out to Happy Isles and back to our car from there we will go to Housekeeping to take showers and then go to Yosemite Valley General Store for souvenirs (your $) and then drive back to San Francisco for the flight back home. Total hiking distance is 75-80 miles.

NOTE: There will be 2 mandatory meetings (they will be held at social night), One (1) mandatory hike date will be talked about at 1st meeting. Do not signup if you think you might not be able to do mandatory meetings and or hike. Leader will work with you if you cannot make hike or meetings on selected date

Recommended Items to Bring:

Tent, sleeping bag, sleeping pad, stove, water filter, spoon or fork, rain gear, light weight jacket (evenings can get cold), bear canister (can be rented cheap at ranger station or leader might be able to borrow one for you), hat, sun glasses, sun screen, lib balm

Notes:
Important information for paid events in which payment is managed through the AOC:

     - Payment must be received by the payment due date and prior to participation in the event.

     - Some paid events require a minimum number of registered participants. If that number is not met, the event will be canceled and refunds will be issued to those who have already paid.

     - Third-party vendors often require damage deposits. Each registrant agrees to be liable for and required to reimburse the Atlanta Outdoor Club for any withheld deposits due to the actions of or damages caused by that registrant.

     - No partial payments. All registrants must pay the posted Member Cost regardless of any agreement you may have with any party involved in the event.

     - Read the event description carefully for additional information, and contact the trip leader(s) with any questions.

Member Cost:$600.00/Person
Non-Member Cost:$600.00/Person
Cost Includes:$620.00 this will include airfare and 10 trail dinners and car rental $10.00 per person for food at Tuolumne Meadows. If any money is left over it will be divided equally.

Payment schedule
$50.00 non refundable by January 15th
$425.00 by May 1st or $95.00 if you want to purchase own ticket. If they purchase own ticket - Car going to Yosemite will leave at 12:01pm sharp be own time.
$125.00 by June 15th

. Since I am trying do this trip as cheap as possible I might have undercut the final price and I might have to ask for a little more but I do not think so.
