OK, fellow AOC hikers --- Let's hike and do some easy scrambling *) and exploring some lesser walked trails and maybe a few new paths ...

Hiking poles (at least one) are recommended, as well as long pants and long sleeves.

*) sometimes using a hand or two to go up / down-hill

Come join me on the trails at Vickery Creek - Unit of the Chattahoochee NRA.

Note: The extend of our scrambling will depend on the weather and the group, so please sign only up if you don’t mind getting your hands and pants a bit dirty.

From Northbound U.S. 19/Ga. 400
Take exit 6 for Northridge Road
Stay RIGHT onto Northridge Road crossing bridge
Take first RIGHT onto Dunwoody Place, go 1.3 miles
Turn RIGHT at Ga. 9 (Roswell Road), go 0.6 miles
Cross the river turn RIGHT onto Riverside Road, cross Vickery Creek and immediately
Turn LEFT at park entrance

From Southbound U.S. 19/Ga. 400
Take exit 7 for Ga. 140 (Holcomb Bridge Road)
Turn RIGHT onto Ga. 140 East (Holcomb Bridge Road), go 0.2 mile
Turn LEFT at Dogwood Road, go 1.0 miles
Continue STRAIGHT on Riverside Road, go 1.0 mile
Turn RIGHT at park entrance ... before the bridge crossing Vickery Creek

Remember to bring three dollar parking fee, unless you have a Chattahoochee NRA annual parking pass.
