Itinerary:

Gold Branch is one of my favorite trails to hike, it sits along the Chattachoochee River between Sandy Springs and Roswell, and is part of the Chattachoochee River National Recreation Area so let's start this hike on the right foot promptly at 6. We'll do this one at a moderate to fast pace and will cover about 5 miles with water breaks periodically to catch our breathes and regroup.

 

This is not a beginners hike so please make sure you are able to keep up with the group and can hike at moderately fast pace on hilly, rocky and rooted terrain.  

 

There is a parking fee of $3 (if you don't have an annual pass). Please bring the correct amount in cash, arrive on time to purchase your day pass and to check in.  There are no bathrooms at this location.

 

We'll allow 3 dogs on this hike as long as they are on a leash and are able to keep the pace.
