Itinerary:

We're going to do an Urban Hike on the Northside Beltline, down Peachtree Street and back up the Peachtree Battle Trail with some residential and city streets mixed in. We've got a loop planned out which is about 4 miles and it will take us through Tanyard Creek Park and by Bobby Jones Golf Course. This 'loop' is exploratory and we're not sure of the incline or footing conditions so please be prepared to bear with us and roll with the punches on this one. Once we complete our loop, you're welcome to join us over at the Howell Mill Food Truck Park for dinner. The Food Truck Park is a 1.3 mile drive from where we're parking at Ardmore Park and is super easy to get to.

There is an ATM onsite at the Food Truck Park. I checked their website to see whether they accept credit/debit and cannot find the answer. To be safe, you may want to bring cash for dinner or risk having to use the ATM there onsite.

We will allow up to three dogs on this hike and for dinner. The Food Truck Park allows dogs but they must be well behaved and leashed. Your TL's also ask that your dog be well behaved, leashed and display good behavior while we are eating. We also ask for a max of one dog per participant because we will be on narrow sidewalks during the very urban sections of our hike. Obviously you are responsible for cleaning up after your dog. This is what the Food Truck Park says about dogs; "Friendly leashed dogs are welcome outside the Dining Area and Food Truck Area." I'm not exactly sure of the setup there.

Event Directions:

Parking is at Ardmore Park along Ardmore Rd. The park and park sign (see below) are on the right hand side of the street against the road. Parking is along the street. As with any city parking, check for no parking signs, make sure your car is pointing in the same direction as traffic and don't block anything (driveway, fire hydrant, etc). There is plenty of available street parking. Parking is free and there are no available restrooms at this park.
