Itinerary:

Join us for an easy hike up, down and around Sawnee Mountain. Located just north of Atlanta in Cumming, GA, this park offers an invigorating hike up the mountain with impressive views. We'll meet at the visitor center just off Spot Rd. From there, we will hike up and around the mountain on Indian Seats trail. There are a few smaller loop trails that we will take along the way. The highlight of the trip will be a stop at the observation deck on top of the mountain. We'll have a great view looking north and hopefully some nice breezes.

Appropriate clothing for exercise

Event Directions:

From Atlanta proceed north along GA 400 to the Keith Bridge Road exit.

Take Keith Bridge/306 west to highway 9/Dahlonega Highway.

Take Highway 9 north to Spot Road.

Follow Spot Road west for a few miles until you see the park on your right.
