Itinerary:

The hike is about 11 miles round trip at a moderate pace. We will start at the top of the falls at the trailhead. Please plan on bringing a small lunch/snack. we will stop at the Hike Inn for our lunch break. The Inn will often have some bread, dessert or fruitthat you can enjoy in exchange for tips for the Inn employees but this is not guaranteed.  We will return via the approach trail to make a loop.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:

From the Park & Ride we will go north on Georgia 400 past the outlet Mall to GA 136. Left on 136 till GA 52. Right until the park entrance. We will stop at the Visitors Center lot to register, then head up the hill to the upper lot and Trailhead.

Carpool Cost: Estimated cost per vehicle for this event is $41.60 using a reimbursement rate guideline of $0.400 per mile. The total amount should be divided by the number of people in the vehicle, including the driver. This is a guideline, not a rule, for drivers but the cost should not be higher unless there are extenuating circumstances.
