Itinerary:

Come join me on a Stress-free hike at the Island Ford unit of the CRNRA on Saturday. We will keep an easy to moderate pace on this hike and hope to complete approx 5 miles in about 2.5 hours whichever is first. This will be a rain or shine hike.

We will take occasional stops for a sip of water or to take some photos and simply admire nature :) This hike will be great for you if you can handle the distance at an acceptable pace while working up a decent sweat. If you're expecting a constant heart pumping hike, then this will not be for you. We will try to cover most of the trails in the unit.

We will meet at the Visitor Center i.e. the 3rd and last Parking lot. There are restrooms at the location. You will need $3 cash for a daily pass if you do not have an annual pass; you can purchase one right at the visitor center, it's just $25 !!

We will start the hike promptly at 10.30 am, so please arrive a few minutes early keeping in mind possible traffic and also to buy your parking pass or use the restrooms.

If you have any questions feel free to email/call me. :)
