Itinerary:

Let's do a hike at scenic Vickery Creek.This will be an easy to moderate pace, 5 mile, rain or shine hike.

We will begin on relatively flat terrain alongside the river to warm up and then hike on several trails inside the unit. At the end we will stop by the dam before getting back to our cars. Since there are a few undulations at this location, it may not be the best hike for a beginner. However it would be a perfect hike if you've done a few D2s and are trying to upgrade to a D3.

We will meet at the Covered Bridge Entrance, what we also know as the Roswell Mill Entrance of Vickery Creek Unit. There is no parking fee here. Restrooms are available at this location. We will begin on time so please arrive a few minutes early keeping in mind traffic or if you need to use the restrooms.

We are meeting behind the shops at the Roswell Mill Center where the parking is free. It is where Hwy 9 (S. Atlanta St) and Hwy 120 (Marietta Hwy) intersect. Keep driving down the road until you get to the big parking lot at the very bottom of the hill.
