Itinerary:
This easy trail (1.5 miles) explores Power's Branch, a tributary of the Chattahoochee River and a ridge above the river. It include scenic stream side views, some with large granite boulders that make the area a photographer's dream. The land is adjacent to busy Roswell Road and actually includes a portion of the original road as well as part of the grade for the Bull Sluice Railroad. We will explore this area stopping for photography opportunities. We will follow this up with an optional lunch nearby. I am doing a second hike after lunch that day nearby. You may sign up for one or both. No car pool as this is a local event but if you need a ride please let me know.
