Itinerary:

This one has two options: I'll take beginners to biking/mountain biking on the beginner trails at Blankets. We'll do Mosquito Flats, Mosquito Bite and the Mosquito Flats extension. All are relatively flat and very easy to maneuver but are bi-directional. This will help you get a feel for your bike and how to ride it on trails. I do highly recommend that you know how to at least ride a bike. Plan on doing about 5 or 6 miles depending on the pace of the group. We'll stop and gather up as needed. If you stick with the beginner group you will not be left behind.

If you're more of an intermediate/advanced rider, feel free to sign up and hit Dwelling, VMT or South Loop trails if you would like. You'll be on your own though and the group will very likely get spread out.

When you sign up: please mark yourself as beginner/novice if you plan on doing the Mosquito portions with me, otherwise I'll assume if you put down intermediate/advanced that you're doing one of the intermediate or advanced trails.

Please make sure your bike is ready at least the day before our ride. We will depart for the trails on time as daylight is burnin'.

SORBA asks for a $1 donation to use the trails. There is a box at the trailhead you can put money in on your way to the trails. This is not mandatory, just suggested and recommended. These trails are very well marked, meticulously maintained and quite frankly pretty dang awesome so you will get a lot for your dollar.

Parking is free and there are restrooms by the parking lot. There is also a bike wash station with hooks and hoses.

Required Items to Bring:

Helmet. No helmet = no ride

water, gatorade or whatever you like to keep hydrated (important)
