Join me for this 30 mile round trip bike ride starting at the Rambo Trailhead near Dallas to Rockmart. Enjoy the scenery of the pastures and countryside.

We will have lunch at Frankies restaurant and ride back the same way.

The pace will be moderate to allow everyone to pick up their own pace. Lunch will break trip in half to make it more enjoyable.

The Silver Comet trail used to be railroad tracks, making it almost flat with little elevation gain.

As we start, we will cross the Pumpkinvine Trestle, which is 750 feet long and 126 feet high. Then we will pass Paulding Forest -hilly pine woods- for the next eight miles. Before emerging from the forest, will go thru the 800 foot long Brushy Mountain Tunnel -a photo opp! Then pastures all the way to Rockmart. Coot's Lake will be on the left side on the way there.

When at Rockmart we will exit by the Riverwalk Park near downtown where Frankies Restaurant is located. After lunch we will meet ouside to make our way back.

IMPORTANT NOTE: You are responsible for your bike maintenance or repairs on the trail
