Itinerary:

I have biked on the Silver Comet many times however this is the first time doing so as a trip leader.

We will begin on the Silver Comet trail at 1pm sharp.  Be sure to tune your bike ahead of time of bring all the various tools if you are prone to breaking down.  And even if you are not prone to breaking down, you may want a few tools for any unforeseen issues.  We will proceed on the trail for ~2 hours at a moderate pace (~10mph).  All bikes are welcome (mountain, road, etc, etc) but please be certain you can maintain something that loosely resemebles the pace described since we will stay in what me considered a group.  If your looking to set an olympic speed record; this may not be the ride for you.  We will collect everyone at the intersections along the trail but will have relavelty few breaks.  After 2 hours we will stop near the Tara Drummond trailhead (actual stopping point will vary depending on the pace of the group). We will relax for 30 minutes to have a snack and then proceed back to the cars.
