Itinerary:

On this one we'll hike the Columns Drive Section of Cochran Shoals - 6 miles in approximately 2 hours 15 minutes, so it is moderately paced and nothing too fast. 

We will meet at the Cochran Shoals parking area at the end of Columns Drive. Please see detailed directions below.

There are restrooms at this location. You will need 3$ cash for a parking fee or an annual pass.

Cochran Shoals - Columns Drive Entrance

Approx Physical Address -153 Columns Dr, Marietta, GA 30067

GPS co-ordinates - 33° 55' 18.17" N, 84° 26' 20.84" W 

  • From I-285 take exit 24
  • In 0.4 miles turn left onto Riverside Dr NW
  • In 2.3 miles turn left onto Johnson Ferry Rd NW
  • In 0.2 miles Turn left onto Columns Dr SE
  • In 2.3 miles the road will dead end into a parking lot.
