Itinerary:

Come join us for a morning bike ride on the the Forsyth Section of the Big Creek Greenway. You'll be home in plenty of time to watch the big game.

We'll meet at the the southern trailhead off of McFarland Road. The one-way distance is 6.8 miles, so out and back is a total of 13.6 miles. Everyone can go at their own pace, but it shouldn't take us more than 2 hours total. It's mostly flat with only about 100 feet of total elevation change one way.

We normally ride around 10-12 MPH depending on the group and traffic on the Greenway.

Click here for a map of the section we'll be riding.

IMPORTANT NOTE(s):

  • YOU are responsible for your bike maintenance or repairs on the trail.
  • All levels of riding ability and all types of bikes are welcome.
  • Bike Helmet is REQUIRED! (No helmet, no ride)

We are posting a second bike ride on the Alpharetta Greenway, so if you want to participate in that one too, then you'll need to register for both events.

Also if you are participating in the 2nd ride, bring a bite to eat for an early lunch or maybe heavy snacks at the trailhead before we start the Alpharetta section at Noon.
