Itinerary:

Temperatures on this day are going to really low, however the prospect of a sunny day is too good to resist. So let's hike Vickery Creek and make the most of it. It will be an experience in itself. 

This will be a moderately paced approximately 5.5 mile hike. We will keep a steady pace to stay warm Our speed will be around 2.6 to 2.9 mph. 

We will cover most of the trails inside the unit and may take a trail more than once to make up for distance. We will stop for fewer breaks and sometimes to regroup.

We meet at the Covered Bridge Entrance, what we also know as the Roswell Mill Entrance of Vickery Creek Unit. There is no parking fee here. Restrooms are available and those we will most definitely need on this cold morning!

We are meeting behind the shops at the Roswell Mill Center where the parking is free.  It is where Hwy 9 (S. Atlanta St) and Hwy 120 (Marietta Hwy) intersect.  Keep driving down the road until you get to the big parking lot at the very bottom of the hill.

I recommend using www.maps.google.com to find directions from your point of origin.
