Itinerary:

Vickery Creek is one of my favourite trails. It has moderate elevation change that offers variety depending on your preference. One gets to see some nice winter views that aren't quite visible in spring.

This will be a moderately paced approximately 6 mile hike. We will keep a steady pace to keep our hearts pumping. We will cover several trails inside the unit and may take a trail more than once to make up for distance.The hike includes few breaks and ocassional stops to regroup or snap a picture.

Two well-behaved dogs will be allowed on this hike. They must be on leash at all times and you must clean up after your pet.

We meet at the Covered Bridge Entrance, what we also know as the Roswell Mill Entrance of Vickery Creek Unit. There is no parking fee here. Restrooms are available at the location.

We are meeting behind the shops at the Roswell Mill Center where the parking is free. It is where Hwy 9 (S. Atlanta St) and Hwy 120 (Marietta Hwy) intersect. Keep driving down the road until you get to the big parking lot at the very bottom of the hill.

I recommend using www.maps.google.com to find directions from your point of origin.
