Itinerary:
From the trailhead, we'll hike up to the Main Face which is almost at the top of the mountain. This face is easily visible from GA 75 between Cleveland and Helen. The hike is approximately 2.5 miles and gains about 1500 feet in elevation. Once at the Main Face, we'll set up several top ropes and enjoy a full day of rock climbing with spectacular views and good company. Although the climbing is fairly easy on Mt. Yonah, the required hiking makes this a physically demanding trip. So, please be prepared to be tired and hungry by the end of the day. For those interested, we may grab dinner afterwards in Helen or Cleveland.

Required Items to Bring:
Participants must bring their own harness, climbing shoes, and helmet. I do have a small amount of extra gear, so feel free to contact me if you're missing something.
Recommended Items to Bring:
Use our Event Checklists to make sure you have everything you need.
2-3 liters of water

climbing gear listed above
belay device and locking carabiner if you have them
hiking poles
I will bring a first aid kit
