Itinerary:

The best laid plans... Sweetwater Creek State Park is having a half marathon on Saturday morning, so we adjust...

Arabia Mountain Park is just outside of Atlanta and has a combination of bike/walking paths and wooded areas for hikers only. Last time we were there, we saw several turtles crossing our path as well.

There are multiple combinations of trails, so we will do enough to equal about 8 miles. There is not much elevation gain, even though it's a "mountain". Maybe 500 feet.

After the hike,  those who would like are invited to join us for lunch at Pallookaville in Avondale Estates.  It's a well-rated fun carnival-like restaurant for us to celebrate!!  Check it out... www.pallookaville.com.

Interstate 20 east leaving Atlanta to exit 74. Make a right on Evans Mill Road. Go approximately 2.5 miles (past Rockland Road) and the parking lot is on your left.  Keep my cell number handy. 619-994- 5933. PARKING IS LIMITED, SO IF YOU CAN CARPOOL WITH SOMEONE ELSE ON THE LIST, PLEASE CONSIDER DOING SO.
