Itinerary:

Join a park naturalist for a campfire, guided hikes, and a beautiful mid-March Moonrise evening with the glowing stars overhead. Roast marshmallows over an open fire, have a cup of lemonade, and walk along a forest trail. Enjoy interesting, interactive programs on the upper deck. Discover new facts about the wildlife of the park and their nocturnal habits. Receive a complimentary Chattahoochee River Naturalist Journal with wildlife lists and paw prints. Enjoy the early spring night, campfire, the stars, and the nocturnal sights and sounds of the Chattahoochee.

Dress for the weather; wear warm, comfortable outdoor clothes and shoes suitable for walking on a forest trail. Don’t forget your warm jacket, hat, gloves, and flashlight!

Flashlight or headlamp with red filter lens, camera (without using flash), so not to harm wildlife eyes

8615 Barnwell Road; Johns Creek, Georgia 30022

From GA 400, take exit 7a, and head East 4.1 miles through the intersection of Holcomb Bridge and Nesbitt Ferry Road to the junction of Barnwell Road. Turn left onto Barnwell Rd, and travel just 0.8 mile to that special entrance to the Education Center, which will be on the right.
