Itinerary:

Come join me for a nice hike along the trails at Pine Mountain in Cartersville.  We will start at the West Loop Trailhead, hiking counter clockwise until we reach the connector trail, then travel up to the summit and enjoy the beautiful veiw. Afterwards we will continue on to take the West Loop. On the return loop we will take the connector trail to the Alatoona Lake trails.  On this trail, we will visit Coopoers Furnace and afterwards head up to the view of the dam and have a lunch or snack from the overlook. Then we will return back to the trailhead. The total hiking distance is about 7 to 8 miles at a moderate pace.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:

I-75 to Exit 288, Right onto East Main Street, then right onto Kamatsu Drive.  Trail Head will be on your left.

If you are meeting at the event: Please be at the West Loop Parking Lot by 9:45AM!
