Have you ever been horseback riding, or would you like to do more? We're headed to Tennessee to ride some trails - spectacular views, fresh mountain air, and beautiful horses! We will do more than walking by horse, and probably a little cantering, so be prepared for some speed! This will be a 2-hour ride and we should get on the trail on or around noon. We will need to be there by 11:15 to sign some paperwork, get a horse, etc. You will need to eat lunch before or after the ride. We will go horseback riding at Blanche Manor. This place comes highly recommended. The owner, Peggy Blanche, has two decades of experience and training numerous horses and riders to world championship titles. She was ready to break away from the stressful life of non-stop showing and traveling and find a place to help people enjoy their own horseback riding experiences. How to Get There:

Event Directions:

From Atlanta Area:Take I-75 North to I-575 North. I-575 turns into 515 North around Canton. Continue North on 515 into Blue Ridge, GA. Then turn left onto Highway 5 North at the McDonalds in Blue Ridge. Go 10.2 miles. Turn left at first stoplight, Tennessee Avenue. Go 3.2 miles (this turns into Mobile road). Turn right on Bethel Church Road, go 0.4 miles. Turn left onto Mount Harmony Church Road, go 1 mile. Turn right onto Deal Hollow. Go 0.2 miles. Turn left at Blanche mailbox and follow signs to barn.

Important information for paid events in which payment is managed through the AOC:

- Payment must be received by the payment due date and prior to participation in the event.

- Some paid events require a minimum number of registered participants. If that number is not met, the event will be canceled and refunds will be issued to those who have already paid.

- Third-party vendors often require damage deposits. Each registrant agrees to be liable for and required to reimburse the Atlanta Outdoor Club for any withheld deposits due to the actions of or damages caused by that registrant.

- No partial payments. All registrants must pay the posted Member Cost regardless of any agreement you may have with any party involved in the event.
