Itinerary:

The weather seems great this week, so let's make the most of it by hiking at Island Ford. We will hike trails along the river and even go by the pond. We wont be doing the lollipop trail on this hike. Most of this hike is along a flat trail, although we might run into a hill or two along the way. :) 

We will hike at a moderate pace with adequate rest breaks.

We are meeting at the Visitor center. There won't be any restrooms since the park office closes at 5 pm. You will need 3$ cash for a daily pass if you do not have an annual pass.


Required Items to Bring:

Appropriate clothing for the weather

3$ cash or annual park pass

Good hiking shoes

A flash light since it is starting to get dark sooner

Recommended Items to Bring:
