Itinerary:

Join me for a photo walk around Peidmont Park and the Eastside Beltline. Peidmont Park is Atlanta's most notable park and has many scenic views of the city. The Eastside Beltline is a multiuse trail next to the park with outside art and more views of the city. Both areas are great for people watching and photography.

This walk will focus on taking interesting photos around Atlanta and perhaps some sunset photos. If you're new to photography, I will share some info about basics of photographic compositioin - rule of 3rds, negative/positive space, and selective focus. These are three features of any image that a photographer uses to create clear, compelling images.

I am an amatuer photographer with many years of experience. I've shot and developed B&W, color, slide, film & digital in cameras of many sizes. I can help you with other questions about photography. Website - http://jchristophe3.wix.com/photography

The hike is open to any level of amateur photographer. Bring your point-and-shoot, SLR, or DSLR for some photographic fun! Check out the following link for some photographic inspiration:

Please make sure to bring a flashlight and comfortable shoes. We will be out and about until dark.

Our total walking distance will be between 4-6 miles. Our pace will be leisurely and we will allow for ample time to explore spots for great photos.
