Learn to SCUBA Dive!

Just $79 for AOC members (normally $150) Plus, as an AOC Special deal, we get gear rental for class, free!!!

This is an incredible price for these classes!!!!

>>Friday night in the classroom, Doraville (5:30p to 10:00p).
>>Saturday and Sunday in the pool for the first half of the day, Marietta (8:30am to 12:00pm). Back in the classroom for the second half of the day, Doraville (1pm to 5:30pm).
Final Tests will be given on Sunday.

You MUST buy the Open Water Diver class materials, which are contained in the Open Water Crew Pack noted in the Required Items below. Diver's Supply has them for $39.95.

You will also need mask, fins and snorkel along with weight. You can buy them anywhere, but make sure your mask fits and it comfortable. Check a mask by placing it against your face and inhaling. It should stick to your face with the suction as you create a vacuum. If you have air seeping in..at all...it does not fit and you will have water seeping in when you are under water and under pressure.

*These are the classes you need in order to be certified as an Open Water Diver. YOU STILL MUST complete “Open Water Certification Dive” within the year, to become fully certified. However, once you get your C Card, you are certified for life and you can dive internationally, too!

YOU MUST REGISTER DIRECTLY WITH DIVER’S SUPPLY, DORAVILLE (Susan Street: Store Manager) 770- 939-3483. TELL THEM YOU ARE WITH DICK AND THE AOC.


Required Items to Bring:
Personal Gear Mask, Snorkel, Fins, Boots, Weight-Belt and Lead Weights are required.
SCUBA Equipment BCD, Regulator system, Tank are provided for the pool skills but must be purchased or rented for the Open Water Dives.

PADI Open Water Crew Pack is required as well and is available at Divers Supply or online here

(Your lead weight should equal 10% of your individual body weight. If you weigh 180 pounds you should have a minimum of 18 pounds of lead weight. ) 		Recommended Items to Bring:

We will probably all go to a restaurant for lunch, but bring your lunch if you do not want to join us.
It is suggested that you use your own SCUBA gear, but if you don't have or don't want to purchase the gear yet, rental gear will be provided.

Cost Includes:$79 *paid directly to Diver’s Supply Doraville. (770.939.DIVE) Rental gear is free, since you know Dick, one time only offer. (Purchase of the PADI Open Water Crew Pack is not included in this cost and is your responsibility in ADDITION to the course cost.
