Join me on this hike at the Sope Creek section of Cochran Shoals where we will hike about 6 miles at a moderate to fast pace. There are some nice and well- marked trails in this unit and during our hike one of the trails migt lead us to the mill ruins. Hiking along the periphery of the unit treats us to views of the river and also the mill ruins on the opposite side, though they might be less visible now since it is so green everywhere.

This is a moderate to fast paced hike, Most of the hike is along flatter trails, but we might encounter a hill or two (or maybe three) to make this a wholesome workout. We will stop ocassionally for a water break or to regroup.

We are meeting at the entrance that is along Paper Mill Road. You require 3 dollars cash for a daily park pass if you dont have an annual pass.

The physical address is approximate, I suggest using google maps to find directions to the venue. If you haven't been here before, please plan for additional time in case you miss the entrance.
