Itinerary:

Join us for a 20-mile bike ride along the Silver Comet Trail.  We will meet at The Mavell Road Trailhead, which is the start of the Silver Comet Trail, at mile marker 0. It has nice restrooms, paved parking, and water.  http://www.silvercometga.com/silver-comet-cobb-county/silver- comet-mavell.shtml

We plan to complete this ride by sunset, so a moderate pace of 10-12 miles per hour will be needed.  Please be sure to check the condition of your bike prior to leaving for the event and perform any needed maintenance then.  You will be responsible for your own on trail bike maintenance, though your Trip Leaders and other riders may be willing to offer assistance or advice.

Notes: (1) You MUST wear a helmet.
           (2) We are all responsible for our own trail repairs and maintenance.
           (3) Arrive early in case it is difficult to locate parking.
