Itinerary:

Want to take a relaxing stroll through a quaint little nature park right off of Papermill Road in East Cobb?  This park is part of the Cobb Land Trust, comprised of volunteers who care about conserving green space in Cobb County.

The land for the 11.5 acre park was a gift of Florence McFarlane, who lived on the property during her lifetime.  Some of the features of the property are woodland trails, pastures with bluebirds, picnic tables, gardens of native perennials, and an active beehive.  If you love gardening and flowers, this is a place you'll want to see.

Because of the relatively small size of the park and the peaceful nature of the area, I'm holding the number of registrants small for this event.

Come join me and discover this little gem sequestered just off of Paper Mill Road in Marietta, GA. We'll stroll through the wooded paths, taking our time to read the plant labels and take photos of the flora that abounds throughout the park.

If you'd like to bring something for lunch, we can sit at one of the picnic tables after the walk and extend our enjoyment of the area a while more.
