East Palisades is one of the most beautiful of all the Chattahoochee Parks. It has several trails some of which aren't on the map, but still connect to the main trails. There used to be a wooden structure near the overlook which has been razed to the ground for an unobstructive view of the river! It is beautiful!

We're going to start off by going uphill toward the Indian Trail Parking lot. We will continue hiking trails toward the overlook. We will skip the bamboo forest since the trail toward it is quite overgrown. We may go towards the cave at the end of our hike.

The hills in this park seem never-ending and it is a fantastic workout! We will encounter at least 4 of these hills. This hike will be at a moderate pace & we will stop for water breaks especially at the top of the hills.

There is a 3$ parking fee unless you have an annual pass. There are no restrooms available.
