Itinerary:

Enjoy an evening of stories, songs, and sounds of the park. Meet the evening's special guest, an owl from the Chattahoochee Nature Center as you sip hot apple cider and hot chocolate. Venture out on a guided night hike and listen for the night time sounds along the Chattahoochee River. Afterward warm up around the campfire and toast marshmallows.

Dress for the weather; comfortable outdoor clothes and shoes suitable for walking on a forest trail. Don't forget your graham crackers, chocolate bars, and flashlight (with red lens so not to disturb the night creatures or your fellow hikers)!

Note don't go in the regular Jones Bridge park entrance like you are going for a regular hike. The Owl Prowl will be presented at the Chattahoochee River Environmental Education Center; 8615 Barnwell Road; Johns Creek, Georgia 30022. It is a different entrance. There will be a sign at the entrance.

From GA 400, take exit 7a, and head East 4.1 miles through the intersection of Holcomb Bridge and Nesbitt Ferry Road to the junction of Barnwell Road. Turn left onto Barnwell Rd, and travel just 0.8 mile to that special entrance to the Education Center, which will be on the right.
