Itinerary:

Join us for a walk in the park! Haw Creek park is a fairly new, and typically rather quiet park with nice hiking trails. There is little elevation change, and the majority of the hike is wooded.

Forsyth County Parks and Rec recently completed construction of new trails that were designed to be moderate mountain biking trails. We will stay on these trails as much as possible which means it will have more areas of incline and declie, all of which are minimal for teh most part. .

We'll meet at the trail head and hit the trail from there.

The park allows dogs, but remember it may be muddy depending on the weather prior to the hike.

Previous to the the hike, anyone interested is welcome to join us for lunch. We'll  go to Bravos Mexican Restaraunt in Suwanee at the corner of Suwanee Dam rd and Hwy 20 after the Laurel ridge Hike.  Before lunch I will be leading a hike at Laurel Ridge, which is approximately 10 min from Bravos and 15 min from Haw Creek.
