Accuweather is predicting "times of clouds and sun; pleasant in the afternoon" with a high in the low 60's. The wind will be from the east so it will assist us all the way, thank you Maria!

The plan is to drop our gear at Johnson Ferry and take as many cars as possible down to Paces Mill (south of Cumberland Mall) while Lynn and any other passengers watch our gear. The float is mostly flat for the first few miles. The last few miles we'll encounter a few Class I rapids - all of them fun; none of them dangerous. With a lunch stop we should be off the river in 4 hours.

There is a $3 parking fee at both ends. You can buy your parking pass at Johnson Ferry and use it at Paces Mill. Doing that keeps the return part of the shuttle from becoming a cat-herding exercise :)
