Let's reprise our Columns Drive Section of Cochran Shoals. These trails are one of the most frequented ones of the CRNRA. We will begin in the Columns Drive section and take trails that may lead us to the Sope Creek section, we will loop around and return to the parking lot.

If you are looking for a change from all our fast hikes then this is a perfect one. We will skip all hills unless we absolutely have to take one. The rest of trail is relatively flat with a few rolling hills. This hike is everything a D3 isn't.

We will meet at the Cochran Shoals parking area at the end of Columns Drive. Please see detailed directions below.

There are restrooms at this location. You will need 3$ cash for a parking fee or an annual pass.

Approx Physical Address -153 Columns Dr, Marietta, GA 30067

GPS co-ordinates - 33° 55' 18.17" N, 84° 26' 20.84" W

From I-285 take exit 24
In 0.4 miles turn left onto Riverside Dr NW
In 2.3 miles turn left onto Johnson Ferry Rd NW
In 0.2 miles Turn left onto Columns Dr SE
In 2.3 miles the road will dead end into a parking lot.
