Conditions were great for our 10-mile loop hike - lots of snow!  It was a rare treat for Georgia hikers, walking along well-packed snow-covered trails and taking in vistas seldom seen on the Amicalola hike.  The final approach to the Len Foote Hike Inn was especially nice with little foliage to obstruct views of white mountains in the distance.  After lunch at the Inn we hit the trail again and ran into a little mud on open sections of the trail getting direct sunlight, but it wasn't long until we were back in the snow.  A beautiful day with lots of photo ops for our 16 hikers.
