We had a beautiful day to explore the park and enjoy the views of the surrounding mountains. This was an exploratory outing, and explore we did--including the spur to the Laurel Ridge campground, the loop around Black Rock Lake, waterfalls... and the tough climb on the return of the Edmonds Trail. After a break back at the picnic area near the parking lot, a few of us continued the exploration around TN Rock trail with wonderful wildflower displays and more good mountain views from the hights of Black Rock and TN Rock.
