Who says you have to rough it on the trail?  We had beautiful sunny day for our hike.  The falls were in rare form, producing a slight mist in the island area.  The Panther Creek Trail offered its usual challenges, slick narrow ledges, a couple stream crossing, and some steep ascents and descents.  But, in AOC fashion, we packed in a New Year’s appetizer spread complete with a table cloth, flatware, and dishes.  Not only do AOC’ers do outdoor activities, we can cook too.  We had enough left over for a post hike celebration, before heading home.
