Write Up:
Good trip. On the uphill sections with all the heavy leaves on the trail it was take one step forward and slide 6 inches back. In the higher elevations there was still plenty of snow on the North face of the mountains. In places it was icy on the trail.

Note to future leaders: Might want to add a caution about car sickness for this trip. The roads in this area (US 19, Ga 180 and Ga 60 and FS 4) are extremely curvy, and several different people on two separate trips to the trail have experienced mild to extreme motion sickness.
