Happy New Year - thanks for all that joined me this morning hiking Sope Creek and Cochran Shoals. We hiked about nine miles.  We had a few sprinkles here and there but for the  most part it was dry - although lots of mud,  mud puddles, wet feet.  The sky was dark and ominous during the entire hike.  I am so glad that I didn't cancel.
